Yip In Tsoi & Co., Ltd. was formed as an ordinary partnership in the Southern part of Thailand in 1926, and was g of incorporated as a limited company in Bangkok in 1930.The Company started with trading in minerals,then marketinmining products and equipment and eventually branch out into operation of mines. The next expansionwas into fullscale marketing, Banking services and lastly industrial investment through joint ventureinitially with foreign partners and later with Thai partners.

  บริษัท ยิบอินซอย จำกัด ก่อตั้งขึ้นในตอนใต้ของประเทศไทย และได้จดทะเบียนเป็นบริษัทที่กรุงเทพ เมื่อปี พ.ศ.2469 ทางบริษัทได้เริ่มต้นกิจการ ซื้อขายเกี่ยวกับแร่ หลังจากที่ตลาดของแร่อุปกรณ์การผลิตแร่ และไม่นานได้ก้าวเข้าสู่การทำเหมืองแร่ต่อมา ได้ขยายตัวเข้าสู่การตลาดอย่างเต็มตัว ร่วมถึงธุรกิจด้านธนาคารอุตสาหกรรมขนาดใหญ่ การลงทุนร่วมกับบริษัทข้ามชาติในช่วงแรก ซึ่งต่อมาได้เปลี่ยนเป็นบริษัทที่ถือหุ้นโดยคนไทยเช่นเดิม
